PORTUGAL
Since October 2012, qualifying applicants have been able to get residence status in Portugal while continuing to reside overseas thanks to the Portugal Citizenship (Golden Residence) Permit Programme. Families of investors may travel to Portugal with them. For those who want the flexibility to live and work in Europe, the Programme is the best option. Portugal is a country on the Iberian Peninsula in Western Europe. It shares a lengthy coastline with Spain on the Atlantic Ocean. The Azores and Madeira archipelagos are part of Portugal’s territory. Lisbon, the nation’s capital, is the oldest city in Western Europe.
Portugal is in the “very high human development” category, coming in at number 41 out of 187 nations in the 2014 Human Development Index.
